SPONSORED CONTENT — Partner Summit is a special event for me, and our Canadian leadership team. It’s where we get to interact and engage with literally thousands of our partners from across the globe. It’s where we get to discuss the channel and where it is headed as new service models affect how companies purchase technology.

And it’s where we getto celebrate the achievements of our Canadian partners.  Last night at Partner Summit in Las Vegas we announced our 2014 Canadian Partner Summit award recipients, nine very deserving partners that are setting the standard for service, expertise and innovation in Canada.

I am proud to announce the 2014 Canadian Partner Summit award winners are:

Softchoice, East Partner of the Year

Compugen, West Partner of the Year

CompuCom, Central Partner of the Year

Long View Systems, Professional Services Partner of the Year and Collaboration Partner of the Year

Bell Canada, Data Center / Virtualization Partner of the Year

TELUS, Borderless Network Partner of the Year

CGI, Cloud Partner of the Year

FlexITy, Vertical / Solution Innovation Partner of the Year

CDW, Mid-Market Partner of the Year

Ingram Micro, Distribution Partner of the Year

This is an incredible field of recipients and they reinforce my belief that Canada has one of the strongest partner ecosystems in the world. From coast to coast, we have remarkable partners that are pushing the boundaries of what their customers can achieve. We are grateful that they choose Cisco to partner with and address the opportunities we have in front of us.

I am especially honoured to announce that our Canadian Partner of the Year award was presented to Bell Canada. This fantastic achievement is attributed to Bell Canada’s performance across our great country.

Congratulations to all the Canadian award recipients this year and thank you all for your continued investment in and with Cisco.
