To say Lenovo had a busy year in 2014 would be a bit of an understatement. The company made two blockbuster acquisitions, grabbing IBM’s x86 server business and Motorola’s mobility business from Google. It also continued to cement itself as the behemoth in the endpoint computing space, a major victory in a year that saw the resurgent PC one of the bright spots for product growth in the technology industry. Closer to home, the company moved into its new office, and found a new position atop the annual Canadian Reseller’s Choice Awards as the new top vendor as voted by the channel community.
With all that as a backdrop, Lenovo Canada channel chief Stefan Bockhop joined the ChannelBuzz.ca Podcast to recap 2014 and offer his predictions for 2015. How will the “One Lenovo, One Channel” initiative pay off? Will the PC continue to be a bright spot this year? What will the Motorola acquisition mean to the company’s IT-centric business partners? Stefan addresses these questions and more in this edition of the Podcast.
