The ChannelBuzz.ca Podcast comes to you live from Ingram Micro Cloud Summit X in San Diego and brings you interviews with two of the six Canadian award winners at the event.

First, we chat with Paul Twigg, vice president of technology at Sierra Systems, winner of the Infrastructure-as-a-Service Rockstar Award here at the Summit, about precisely what makes them an IaaS Rockstar, especially considering the company identifies primarily as an application-driven integrator. We discuss the NTT Data company’s cloud journey over the last few years, and how their customers, mainly in the public sector, look at public cloud options.

Then, we meet up with Craig Slack, managing partner at Blue Silver Shift, winner of the Ingram and Microsoft Canda Azure Partner of the Year award, and an award-winning partner two years in a row at Cloud Summit. We discuss the born-in-the-cloud solution provider’s evolution; its early-days bet on Azure as the platform to build on, why it believes data science may be the next step in its development, and how it works with other solution providers to develop more complete solutions for its customers.

All that and more in this edition of the ChannelBuzz.ca Podcast.
